ARPC Announces Reserve Lt. Col. and Maj. Promotions

Air Reserve Personnel Center officials announced results for the Calendar Year 2021 Air Force Reserve Line and Nonline Lieutenant Colonel Promotion Selection Boards today, October 14. The boards selected more than 700 Citizen Airmen for promotion.

The selection boards convened at ARPC June 7 - 23 to determine those officers best qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 726 of 1519 officers considered.

Categories considered during these promotion boards were: Air Force Reserve Line of the Air Force-Air Operations and Special Warfare (LAF-A), Line of the Air Force-Space Operations (LAF-S), Line of the Air Force-Information Warfare (LAF-I), Line of the Air Force-Combat Support (LAF-C), Line of the Air Force-Force Modernization (LAF-F), Dental Corps (DC), Medical Corps (MC), Nurse Corps (NC), Medical Services Corps (MSC), Biomedical Sciences Corps (BSC), Chaplains and Line of the Air Force Judge Advocate (LAF-J) and Major’s Continuation.

-- 146 LAF-A officers were selected from 173 considered for an 84 percent selection rate.

-- Two LAF-S officers were selected from two considered for a 100 percent selection rate.

-- 32 LAF-I officers were selected from 39 considered for an 82 percent selection rate.

-- 38 LAF-C officers were selected from 44 considered for an 86 percent selection rate.

-- Four LAF-J officers were selected from four considered for a 100 percent selection rate.

-- Seven Chaplain officers were selected from nine considered for a 78 percent selection rate.

-- Two DC officers were selected from two considered for a 100 percent selection rate.

-- Six MC officers were selected from seven considered for an 86 percent selection rate.

-- 13 NC officers were selected from 18 considered for a 72 percent selection rate.

-- Six MSC officers were selected from eight considered for a 75 percent selection rate.

-- 15 BSC officers were selected from 16 considered for a 94 percent selection rate.

-- 83 LAF-A officers were selected from 88 considered for a 94 percent selection rate.

-- One LAF-N officers were selected from one considered for a 100 percent selection rate.

-- 24 LAF-I officers were selected from 27 considered for an 89 percent selection rate.

-- 43 LAF-C officers were selected from 47 considered for a 91 percent selection rate.

-- Three LAF-J officers were selected from three considered for a 100 percent selection rate.

-- Six Chaplain officers were selected from seven considered for an 86 percent selection rate.

-- Two DC officers were selected from two considered for a 100 percent selection rate.

-- Five MC officers were selected from five considered for a 100 percent selection rate.

-- 24 NC officers were selected from 26 considered for a 92 percent selection rate.

-- Two MSC officers were selected from two considered for a 100 percent selection rate.

-- 13 BSC officers were selected from 14 considered for a 93 percent selection rate.
