Community College of the Air Force graduates assigned to the 927th Air Refueling Wing walked across the stage and received their diplomas during a ceremony held on Dec. 4, 2016, at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.

In attendance were graduates, their commanders, supervisors, co-workers and family members.

"Our Air Force is much better than it was yesterday," said Colonel Frank Amodeo 927th Air Refueling Wing commander. “Our Airmen standing before us have just gained more knowledge which only helps increase our capabilities as an Air Force, I’m very proud of all of you and I look forward to what we can accomplish in the near future.”

Guest speaker for the ceremony was Senior Master Sgt. Clint Grizzell Joint Special Operations Forces Senior Enlisted Academy instructor who congratulated the Airmen and gave some words of advice.

"You all have taken a monumental step in your careers today,” said Grizzell. “You chose to continue your pursuit of education and continue to gain knowledge that’s going to propel you going forward not only in your careers, but in life too. Congratulations to all of you.”

The Community College of the Air Force is the largest, multi-campus community college in the world, with affiliated schools in 37 states and 9 foreign locations. Each year, CCAF students earn more than 1.6 million hours of college credits, and the college has awarded more than 335,000 degrees since 1977.
