MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Airman 1st Class Malik Houston, a 6th Air Mobility Wing fuels distribution operator, was found deceased off-base Dec.19.
“On behalf of the MacDill family, I want to extend our sympathy to the friends and family of Airman 1st Class Houston during this time of sorrow,” said Col. Stephen Snelson, 6th Air Mobility Wing commander.
The cause of death is under investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available.

An Airman assigned to MacDill Air Force Base was found deceased off-base, Dec. 19.
The incident is currently under investigation, and the name of the deceased is being withheld until 24 hours after next-of-kin notification.
