MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. --

The new 6th Medical Group satellite clinic at Sabal Park celebrated its official grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony May 3, 2019 in Tampa, Florida.

Previously located in Brandon, Fla., the old satellite clinic provided 16,000 square feet of space to work, which doubled to more than 30,000 square feet at Sabal Park. The new location provides a closer option for medical care to Airmen and their families living in the Brandon and Riverview area.

“It’s an amazing improvement to our ability to provide trusted care to our military families and retirees,” said Col. Christine Berberick, the 6th MDG commander at the event. “With more space, we can better care for our beneficiaries in the Tampa area.”

Sabal Park clinic is located at 9208 King Palm Dr, Tampa, FL 33619.
