The 927th Air Refueling Wing is excited to stand up a Development Training Flight (DTF) to help our newly enlisted members prepare for basic military training and life in the Air Force.

The DTF is designed to provide preparatory training prior to Basic Military and Technical Training and assist with a successful transition from civilian to military life.

Beginning with the May UTA, 17 trainees will participate. They will meet every Saturday of the UTA to gain knowledge in areas such as customs and courtesies, drill and ceremony, and dress and appearance. Our goal is to ensure they have an understanding of the Air Force, meet BMT fitness standards, and are motivated and ready to succeed.

Our DTF Facilitator is SSgt Eivette Icaza of the 927th Logistics Readiness Squadron. She is responsible for managing the program and ensuring interactive training is available. If you have any questions, please contact her at (813) 828-2683.
