First Annual Children's Holiday Party Published Dec. 6, 2009 By Capt Shane Huff 927th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs Office MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The 927th Air Refueling Wing held its first annual Children's Holiday Party attended by wing members and their families. Colonel Lewis presented opening remarks to welcome all of the families and to begin the festivities. Free face painting, arts and crafts, hoola-hoop competitions, and food were all part of the activities. It was a packed house with approximately 80 children each receiving a stocking filled with goodies. Santa Claus also made a surprise visit to bring holiday cheer and hand out gifts to the children. Good times were had by all and it was a wonderful start to the holiday season.
