MSgt French, Reserve Recruiter of the Year

Master Sergeant Kevin French is an Air Force Reserve recruiter stationed at MacDill Air Force Base. He was the recipient of the Colonel Mike Mungavin Award for being the top recruiter in Air Force Reserve Command.  Unable to attend the actual awards ceremony in Savannah, Ga, last week, Sergeant French was presented the award trophy by Colonel Kenneth D. Lewis, Jr., Commander of the 927th Air Refueling Wing here at MacDill yesterday.

The top recruiter in the command is based upon sustained performance and overall recruiter statistics.  The 2009 fiscal year goal for Sergeant French was 44, his accession number was 102.  He received the Rookie of the Year award in FY06, Superior Achievement in FY07, Century Club FY08-09, Col Mike Mungavin Award Recipient in FY08-09. Sergeant French has a career production average of 217%. 

"I want to thank the 927th Military Personnel Flight. I am very grateful for their work, if it wasn't for them I would not be receiving this award. I have had a good supervisor, a good office partner, and a good unit to work with," said French.  

Also receiving recognition from MacDill, in the personnel category was gold medalist recipient Master Sergeant Albert Anthony of the 927th Military Personnel Flight and Master Sergeant Carl Nixon of Air Force Reserve Recruiting received the gold medal for Health Professionals recruits.
