MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- MacDill Air Force Base retirees and military families can keep their smiles bright without having to go off base thanks to the opening of a DOCS Dental Office at the Army & Air Force Exchange Service shopping center.

Jason Loschinskey, 6th Mission Support Group commander, Sherri Samudio, MacDill AFB Exchange Services Business Manager and William Gholston of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cut the ribbon for the new DOCS Dental Office located at the MacDill AFB Exchange shopping center at MacDill AFB, Fla., Dec. 14, 2021.
“The convenience of dental services on the installation is a tremendous benefit to the MacDill community,” said Kuttamperoor. “The Exchange is committed to making life better at MacDill.”
In addition to retirees and military dependents, veterans with service-connected disabilities and Department of Defense civilians can also utilize the dental office services.
The DOCS dental office has six operatory rooms and provides general dentistry, orthodontics, periodontics, endodontics and cosmetic services. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and accepts all TRICARE dental plans for beneficiaries, as well as the Federal Employee Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP) and other insurances.
