Maj. Lydon assumes command of the 927 SFS

Maj. David Lydon assumed command of the 927th Security Forces Squadron at an Assumption of Command ceremony here Jan. 9. The ceremony opened with the arrival Col. Dennis Seymour, the 927th Mission Support Group, commander, assumption of command presider.

Seymour described to Lydon the members that make up the 927 SFS.

"These men and women are hard-working and mission focused who are proud to serve this wing and this country," said Seymour. "If you take care of them, as I am positive you will, then they will continue to take care of the mission with the utmost professionalism and dedication."

"I am honored to be your new commander," Lydon proclaimed to the members of the 927 SFS. "I have heard nothing but great things from the throughout the wing leadership about everyone in this squadron and look forward to serving you all as your commander."

We will work together as a team to be the best security forces squadron in the command," said Lydon.
