"Tis the season of giving," is a common phrase heard around this time of the year, but for the volunteers at the Airman's Attic, giving is year round.

Over the past year, donations made by Team MacDill have provided household goods, uniforms and much more to E-1 through E-6 Airmen.

"We are so grateful for all the donations we have received over the year," said Carmen Pizzi, a 14-year volunteer with the Airman's Attic. "This year we wanted to do something special for our kiddo's (Airmen) and what better way than a free raffle."

One of the volunteers with the Airman's Attic created five themed gift baskets from items donated by MacDill's populous. There will be a baby girl, baby boy, country, and two holiday themed baskets filled with a variety of goodies.

The five baskets will be given to the winners on Dec. 22, 2015.

Visit the Airman's Attic during their hours of operation, Tuesday and Friday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., to enter your name for a chance to win.

The Airman's Attic is also teaming up with military sponsors to host a free holiday cookout on Dec. 4, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for MacDill personnel and their families. There will be food, raffles and prizes.
