New leader for 927th Operations Group

Colonel William Rolocut took command of the 927th Operations Group during a change of command ceremony held on Saturday of the March Unit Training Assembly here.

The colonel, a well-seasoned leader was commissioned in 1985 and has held numerous leadership roles, to include 433d Ops Group commander, and most recently he served as the Deputy Director of Air, Space and Information Operations for the Air Force Reserve Command.

"I have Known Col. Rolocut for a couple years and I have full faith and confidence in his ability as a leader," said Col. Larry Shaw, outgoing 927 OG commander. I now handover to you the best Ops Group in the AFRC command, to the men and women of the 927 Ops Group, I salute you."

Colonel Rolocut will now be responsible to organize, train and equip aircrews to provide air-to-air refueling anytime, anywhere.

The KC-135R Stratotankers support fighter, bomber, reconnaissance and airlift aircraft from all branches of the U.S. Military as well as allied military aircraft.

The 927th Air Refueling Wing alongside their mission partner, the 6th Air Mobility Wing provides a dedicated and prepared total force team to fly, fight and win in air, space and cyberspace.
