JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. -- Leaders of the Air Force and the Air Reserve Component gathered for an Aircrew Summit here to sign the Total Force Aircrew Management Charter Sept. 18 .

Lt.. Gen. Stanley E. Clarke, director, Air National Guard, Deborah Lee James, Secretary of the Air Force, Gen. Mark A. Welsh, III, Air Force Chief of Staff, and Lt. Gen. James F. Jackson, chief of the Air Force Reserve, signed the charter which integrates Total Force Management of resources across the active duty, Guard and Reserve to maximize combat readiness.
