927 ARW holds second annual Pennies for Pegasus 5k

The 927th Air Refueling Wing, MacDill Air Force Base Florida, held the second annual Pennies for Pegasus 5K on base June 7.

The race is held on a Unit Training Assembly weekend to help raise money for the families of deployed reservists and to provide for morale, welfare, and readiness events throughout the year.

"I was very happy with the turnout this year and it's great to see everyone from the wing coming together to help their fellow airmen," Colonel Brad Anderson, 927 ARW Vice Wing Commander said. "Getting some PT in before the sun comes up is also a great way to start the UTA."
