MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – When it’s over 90 degrees Fahrenheit on the flight line, the smart place to be is near the water. Staff Sgt. Bryan Hartman, a crew chief with the 927th Air Refueling Wing’s Maintenance Squadron, spent his reserve weekend washing a 53 year-old plane in the shade of its wing. The regular wash and critical corrosion inspection keeps the planes looking their best and ensures they can complete their missions. (Official U.S. Air Force photo/Staff. Sgt. Shawn Rhodes)
