MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – Technical Sgt. Ron Arroyo knows the importance of keeping it clean. He participated recently in a KC-135 Stratotanker wash and critical corrosion inspection in a hangar here July 14, 2012. The wash is designed to remove the dirt and dust the plane picks up in flight. Because of the daily efforts of the crew chief and his team with the 927th Maintenance Squadron, 53 year-old airplanes like this still look new. (Official U.S. Air Force photo/Staff. Sgt.
