MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – Instead of carrying a wallet full of pictures, 87 year-old James Watland has kept up with the times. He shows off a picture of himself on his computer these days. Watland served in the Air Force from 1952-1962, and was one of the first to fly in the same type of aircraft he sits in today. Watland had an opportunity to relive old memories during an orientation flight for employers and civic leaders hosted by the 927th Air Refueling Wing, a reserve unit at MacDill recently.
