MacDill Air Force Base, Fla. -- Technical Sgt. Eric Alexander, 37, of Detroit and Tech Sgt. Dan Prill, 31 of Adrian, Mich., are part of an elite group of combat veterans in the 927th Air Refueling Wing. The two reservists were providing security for a convoy in Iraq one day in 2004 when they came under attack from insurgents wielding heavy small arms fire, rocket-propelled grenades, and vehicle-borne improvised-explosive devices.
