MacDill Air Force Base, Fla. -- Making a difference in people's lives is not a dream for Lt. Col. Enrique Rivera - it's a way of life. The San Juan, Puerto Rico native works as an interventional cardiologist during the workweek, helping people recover from heart attacks and a host of other medical issues. He gives up his free time to serve his country with the 927th Aerospace Medicine Squadron here. Although his duties with the military are not nearly as specialized, Rivera enjoys the change of pace - rarely is he faced with a life and death situation here.
