Spotlight On An Airman
MacDill Air Force Base, Fla. -- Staff Sgt. Joseph McCabe dealt with explosives and munitions before switching career fields to healthcare administration. His duties include documenting injuries, helping to schedule dental checkups, immunizations, and other appointments. When not serving his country, the Daytona Beach, Fla. native works as a quality control tester with the Department Of Defense. He put his degrees in science and business administration to work for the 927th Aerospace Medicine Squadron here helping to care for the members of his unit. He says the best part of his job is working with patients. For a people person, dealing with people beats dealing with bombs. (Official U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Shawn Rhodes)
