Danger In The Sky
Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii -- After a trying experience, crew members of a KC-135 Tanker gather after all their passengers are safely de-boarded. An in-flight emergency was declared at 22,000 feet above the Pacific Ocean when smoke and fumes were detected in the cockpit. The culprit turned out to be a malfunction with the pressurization system. (Official U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Shawn Rhodes)
