Honoring the brave: USSOCOM remembers D-Day
A participant straps his life jacket on before boarding a combat rubber raiding craft during a U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) D-Day Memorial Shoot at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., June 1, 2018. The event is hosted annually by USSOCOM and has been designed to simulate obstacles encountered on D-Day in honor of the brave men who faced extreme adversity and fought against all odds storming the beaches of Normandy, France in World War II.
