Grab your fishing rods: thousands of catfish stocked at MacDill AFB
U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Joshua Smoot, the 6th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs NCOIC of mission partner support, fishes at Lewis Lake on MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, Oct. 1, 2021. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Welaka National Fish Hatchery released 3,000 catfish on base to support federal fisheries responsibilities that are mandated by law to create recreational opportunities for federal and state bodies of water.
