F-15C Eagle makes a stop at MacDill
An F-15C Eagle aircraft assigned to the 159th Fighter Squadron, Jacksonville Air National Guard Base, sits parked on the flight line at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, Dec. 3, 2021. The F-15 achieves superior maneuverability and acceleration through high engine thrust-to-weight ratio and low wing-loading. The ratio of aircraft weight to its wing area is a vital factor in maneuverability and enables the aircraft to turn tightly without losing airspeed.
